Hello there, and yippee--you've found Flannel Board Fun!
Whether you're a teacher, librarian, parent, grandparent, or nanny, you've got (adorable) young kids in your life, and I bet you want to provide them with fun, engaging, and meaningful activities. It can be a real struggle to find classroom and at home activities that are easy to set up, relatively inexpensive (or better yet, free!), and that provide valuable learning opportunities. My intent with this blog is to give you a break from all the searching through books and pins--because you don't have time for that!  Here you'll find early literacy tips, fine motor activities, song and story ideas--pretty much anything preschool-related that is both fun and educational!
As a preschool teacher for 25 years, I've had a lot of time to try out a LOT of different ideas and activities in the classroom.  Some were wonderful, and some were huge fails!  I threw the losers out the window, and am sharing my favorite ideas that will help you set the stage for your kids to be successful little learners.  You can be sure you are getting the perfect combination of fun and fundamentals! What could be better: engaging and fun hands-on activities that promote imagination--plus literacy, fine motor, and math skills--all through play!?
If you want even more tidbits and ideas, sign up for my newsletter (it's short and sweet!) http://bit.ly/FlannelBoardFun.
I'm so glad you found my blog--I hope you find lots of ideas here!
